South Park golf course opened in 1905. The back nine, designed by Bill Sullivan, opened in 1988. South Park Country Club is the oldest Country Club in Kentucky.

South Park golf course was built on rolling terrain. This scenic course is surrounded on three sides by mountains. The greens are small, and water hazards come into play on six holes.
